About Newzician Magazine

This mag was born from three friends’ passion for music and love for the scene in which we have had so many good times. Going to gigs at dingy little venues, a beer in hand, boogie-ing our hearts out surrounded by mates - bliss. The Aotearoa music scene is special and we thought it deserved to be celebrated. Newzician Mag aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the Aotearoa music scene, Artists, and the context in which they exist. We want to highlight and showcase a diverse range of talented local musicians and the people and places who make the scene thrive.
